Neurodapt was founded with one clear belief: different thinkers deserve tools that work for them.
As a team with lived experience of neurodivergence, we know what it means to navigate systems that weren’t built with our brains in mind. Too often, children, families, and adults are left without practical support for the everyday challenges of organisation, focus, and independence.
That’s why we started Neurodapt. We wanted to turn lived insight into real solutions. Instead of adding to the noise of awareness campaigns, we decided to build tangible, usable tools that empower people to thrive in ways that feel natural to them.
Our first product is a pocket-sized, distraction-free device designed to ease the burden of planning, remembering, and managing routines. It’s already been tested by over 100 pupils in Scottish schools, and the response is clear: physical, intuitive tools can make an immediate difference.
But our story doesn’t stop with one product. We’re reshaping how support for neurodivergent minds is imagined and delivered — through schools, families, and communities.
Our Story
We design with a principle inspired by the curb cut effect: tools made to solve complex challenges for one group often create benefits for everyone. Just as ramps help not only wheelchair users but also parents with prams or travellers with luggage, our tools for neurodivergent minds also improve focus, wellbeing, and independence for a much wider audience.
